Our Monsoon Silk Caftan is back! This beautiful black and white print is truly a special piece with a special story. We were privileged to watch Suria of Suria Artisan Batik paint hand-paint this fabric one delicate wax stroke at a time, all while listening to the sound of the gentle rain and wild gibbons just outside her rainforest studio. Aptly named Monsoon, this print is inspired by the seasonal rains in Malaysia and each piece is painted 4 meters at a time by hand. Light and easy, this silk caftan is as fluid as Intan's painting. Made in our classic caftan silhouette, it comes with a removable belt and can be worn 4 ways: belted above the waist empire-style, tied at the natural waist, looped through the top and bottom loops and tied in the back for a clean line, or with no belt at all. Trust us, this is one you will want in your caftan collection now and forever.
